Since becoming a golf professional in 1993, Bob has dedicated his talent to his passion, teaching.  Having earned Class A Member status in the PGA of America, he conducts Adult, Junior, and Senior private and group lessons, full swing and short game instruction as well as clinics.

A native of Northeast Ohio, Bob earned his PGA experience as a First Assistant at both Brookledge Golf Club in Cuyahoga Falls and Glen Eagles Golf Club in Twinsburg.  In 1997 he became a full-time teaching professional and sharpened his teaching skills while working with students at Hickory Sticks Driving Range in Copley.

Bob joined the teaching staff at The Range at Boston Hills in 2001. Accepting a new challenge in 2004, Bob became the Coach of the Hudson Girls Junior Varsity golf team. In charge of new player development, he led eight freshmen to a record setting 26-1 in their first two years.

In 2008 Bob moved into the next phase of his teaching career, bringing  the PGA OF AMERICA and his students to 2 Club Golf & Learning Center.   Additionally, during the off-season, he gained professional experience with his work at PGA West in LaQuinta, California, including assisting in tournament preparation of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.

With patience, and a thorough understanding of the golf swing, Bob shares his knowledge with players at all skill levels.  His mission in teaching is to empower each individual to be the best that they can be by analyzing their abilities, designing a game plan, achieving personal goals, and making it FUN along the way!

Bob maintains and updates his teaching skills with regular attendance at national PGA Teaching Summits, as well as local education and teaching seminars. Learning from famous teachers like Butch Harmon, David Leadbetter, Jim Flick, Jim Mclean, Rick Smith, Hank Haney, and short game greats Dave Pelz, Jack Burke Jr., and Phil Rodgers helped him develop his unique and successful teaching style that has helped so many of his students today.

Testimonials

"I really enjoy Bob's holistic approach to teaching.  He combines the mental, physical, and technical aspects of the swing in a way that's easy for anyone to understand.  It's been fun learning to use physics, instead of muscle, to experience the true feeling of a golf swing, as opposed to manufacturing one from mechanics and conscious thought."     Mike Bass - President, HY-KO Products

"Bob's unique method of instruction, including his state-of-the-art video teaching system, has tremendously improved my swing.  With only a few lessons, I am using my new, relaxed swing on the golf course, and my iron shots are raising  the eyebrows of my playing partners.  I recommended Bob to a 30 handicapper, and his ball striking was noticeably improved after his first lesson.  Sam Horowitz - President, Keystone Marketing

"My golf game has dramatically improved since I began taking lessons with Bob.  His knowledge and understanding of the golf swing are amazing.  Patience is the foundation of his teaching style.  He is a progressive thinker, and delivers information that is totally result-oriented."   Ed King - President, Kings Gym
