                                                                                                                       Faith Egli, PGA & LPGA

 

Faith Egli has joined the staff at 2Club Golf and Learning Center.  She has come on staff to do special events and individual instruction.  She is truly an asset to the facility because of her knowledge and past experiences in the game of golf.  She is an outstanding teaching professional who wishes to help you out with your golf game.  

Egli will assist the Hiram College women’s golf team in the spring of 2008 as a technical consultant. 

Egli has served as a golf professional at Congress Lake Golf Club in Hartville, Ohio for the past 12 years and became the first female head golf professional at a private club in the state of Ohio in 2002. She is currently a member of the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) Board of Directors and LPGA Midwest Section Tournament Coordinator. Egli is one of 50 professionals with both a PGA (Professional Golf Association) and LPGA class certification. She has also received a lifetime achievement award from the Northern Ohio Chapter of the PGA of America.

Egli has had a strong playing career in which she has competed in a total of 13 LPGA tour events including the United States Open in 1989. As an amateur, she received the Michigan Amateur Medalist Award, was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten award winner and served as team captain of the Michigan State University golf team.  She was also nominated as the athlete of the decade of the 1980's.   

Faith was honored with being named as one of the top teaching professionals in the United States by the Golf Instructors Magazine.  She is extremely happy to join the teaching family at 2Club Golf.    She is looking forward to teaching  the beginner to the advanced player.  If you are interested in her services please contact David Donald at 330-467-2040.
